I am a firm believer that if a band can perform well live, then they are a quality band. This is true for my favorites, No Doubt included. Pandora offers a wide selection of live and acoustic songs from my favorite artists, some which I would have never heard without the station.

So, Pandora helped me find bands before they hit mainstream. Usually, I am not a trend setting by any means but it always helps me feel more music savvy when I know about bands before they are video games or MTV.
