Let’s B-I-N-G-O!

This Thursday we will be visiting the assisted living center here in Stillwater to play and to help the residents with their BINGO boards.
They are so adorable and they get really into the game! This is a great opportunity to make someone’s day. Some of these people
don’t have family around so they get lonely and sad. They love seeing young faces and active personalities! We do this yearly and it
always is a great success. Come join AdClub in this adventure and be a part of the community and the effort to making others happy.

If you want to carpool meet in the JB parking lot at 5:40pm on Thursday. If you want, you can also drive separately and meet at the
Renaissance Center by 6pm. The address is 1400 E. McElroy Road. Hope to see you there!

-The details are in for Creative Lightning Awards-

As mentioned earlier, OSU Advertising Club is sponsoring the third annual Creative Lightning Awards. The CLAs is a creative competition for Oklahoma college students with categories spanning graphic design, photography, art (2D & 3D), illustration, interactive, broadcast, film and even an “other” category that can cover areas such as apparel or architectural design. You can submit anything from class projects to independent work.

Our purpose with this statewide competition is to promote and recognize the creativity in the students of Oklahoma higher education schools. It gives you a chance to have award-winning work in your portfolio, make contacts with local professionals, build your resume, get feedback and see how your work stacks up among the students across the state.

Call for Entries will be Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. Mailed entries have a postmark deadline of Friday, Feb. 22, 2008. So get your work in! If you have already made it for class, why not get awarded for it?

Visit www.creativelightningawards.com (found on the links bar on the right) for all the details about the Creative Lightning Awards. Contact Emma Adair at emma.adair@okstate.edu with any questions you may have.

Best of luck, and we’ll see you at the awards show on March 9!
