Big XII Power Rankings Vol. 6
Power Rankings-Description down to six, list to twelve.
1. Oklahoma-Everything has fallen into place for this team and now they have a chance to finish what they started with a victory versus Nebraska in the Big XII Championship Game.
2. Nebraska-This team has beaten every team they were supposed to beat and loss to every team they were supposed to with the exception of Oklahoma State. Bill Callahan and the Husker’s still need a marquee win and have a chance against the Sooner’s in the Big XII Championship Game.
3. Texas A&M-Dennis Francheone was on the hot seat but his team came out and beat their rival Texas and he gained the win he needed to keep his job for a couple of more years.
4. Texas-I really don’t know what to say about this team. With tons of talent, 9-3 just doesn’t cut it in the state of Texas. Now they’re losing twelve starters, and have to watch the Sooner’s win another championship.
5. Kansas State-At the beginning of the season, I would have laughed if you would have told me K-State would be the fifth best team and in the Alamo Bowl but Ron Prince really has something going up there.
6. Missouri-With a lot of returning starters, the Tigers have a lot to be grateful for after a great year for first year starter Chase Daniels. Next year, they have a great chance to represent the North in the Big XII Championship Game.
7. Texas Tech
8. Oklahoma State
9. Kansas
10. Baylor
11. Colorado
12. Iowa State
