Something you should know about me…
My name is Jennifer, but I go by Jennie. I am a senior at OSU and majoring in Public Relations. My greatest passion in life is music. I am fairly new to the music scene, I only just became obsessed when I came to college. I have been a dancer since I was five and I always danced to the music instead of listen. But now I enjoy listening to music that really means something and with someone that can actually sing. I enjoy finding new artists everyday and discovering music from the past. The undiscovered musicians are my favorite. It is almost to the point that if they are discovered and get signed and big, I tend to not listen to them anymore. In my opinion, the music that has been coming out lately on the radio and television has been lackluster. There are many undiscovered bands that I know who are far more talented then the one’s that are signed to a label. There are also many signed musicians that just aren’t mainstream and on the radio…that should be. That is why I want to get into the music business by finding and promoting new artists that actually have talent. I am using this site to discuss the musicians I enjoy that are signed to labels and ones that are undiscovered. So keep your eyes open for my next post!
