At OColly.com, we use Google Analytics to learn about our audience and provide statistics to our advertisers. It’s not the only method we use, but it’s very helpful. Comparing our stats for this semester vs. the same period a year ago can offer us insight into what we’re doing right or what we may be doing wrong.

A List Apart is the place where designers go to find answers to their questions. You might think it only covers the technical side of the web, but really it offers everything thing from copy writing to code writing to getting along with co-workers and clients to what users really want.

The newest issue, just out today, is a design double header covering the little and big pictures of the creative process.

A bit like a shiny used car…

Tonight you get the keys your web sites, a bit like purchasing a shiny new, used car. That line is in honor of one of the former students from this class who is now an ace used car salesman.

The easiest way to get there is to click on the students link to the right and then find your named under the students taking this class in the Spring 2008 semester. We’ll also talk about web standards and the World Wide Web Consortium tonight…
