This is the first post for the Journalism and Broadcasting 3623 course and the front page for the student blogs, which will be set up for class next week.
In the first class, we handed out the syllabus and discussed the history of the OSU web site by way of introducing the instructor of this course.
In the second class, each of you will register as a user of this blog, which will be used to configure your blog, which is 30 percent of your grade. Please use the name of your home directory as your user id and enter your full name when registering.
Next week, your blog sites will be set up and you will be in a position to post your thoughts and comments. This page is updated.

I’m very interested in this class and very excited to be taking it, but it is really hot in here which makes it easy to become sleepy!
The class has been exactly as I expected. Hopefully the pace will pick up as the semester continues.

I think this will be an interesting class that will teach me how to understand how to communicate on the Internet.
I really enjoy the class, so far. I look forward to writing in the blog and making a website. This is a skill that I can defintely use in my future career.

This class has been OK so far.
I think that this class is great. I’m really looking forward to getting to work more and learn more about these different computer softwares that we will be working with. I think that getting all the people in the class on the same page is taking too long, but that could be attributed to the computer. I’ll give it until next week before I start to complain about it
Other than that everything is great and I want to start getting to work.
So Far…. I have enjoyed the class. My classmates seem like nice, fun people. I am ready to start to learn how to build Web sites. But i guess before we do that we have to learn the roots of the internet.
I am really unsure about what I think about the class so far. I hope its going to be fun and I learn something about setting up sites. I hope you go into details more often b/c I feel somewhat confused at times.
I think the class will be helpful. I am not that great at websites or the computer stuff in general. So hopefully, this class will make me better.

I am a little concerned about how well I will do in this class. As an advertising major (and someone who wants to own my own business someday), I was really excited to be creating a Web site. Of course, I have found out that we are not doing this, but I am hopeful that the things I learn will help me later when that will be important. I will no doubt be in for an elightening learning experience about the internet (which I know very little about).
I internet and I think the internet likes me… at least it hasn’t expressed any bad feeling towards me. I think this class will be interesting. I am definately not a fan of the night class, but I’ll make it work.
